Yuzu Miso Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons miso paste (white or yellow)
  • 2 tablespoons yuzu juice (can be substituted with lemon juice if unavailable)
  • 2 tablespoons mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Marinade:

In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, yuzu juice, mirin, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic until smooth.

2. Marinate the Salmon:

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring each fillet is well-coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a stronger flavor.
